Parents in Haiti who cannot afford to send their children to school often place their children in orphanages to ensure they can go to school.
Global Christian Ministry Forum Canada's Haiti Child Care Mission provides financial assistance to families in Haiti so children who would otherwise be sent to orphanages can attend school while remaining in family homes.
We do this by paying for tuitions, school uniforms, food, clothing, and medical attention.

Michel Fredeau & Family
Our Field Coordinator, Michel Fredeau, is a loving father of three young children. He and his family live just outside Croix-des-Bouquets, Haiti.
At our direction, Michel makes tuition payments, purchases and disburses supplies, and makes regular visits to the families of the children we support.
LOVING & NURTURING
ENVIRONMENT
We enable children to receive an education without being institutionalized.
We are helping children throughout Haiti to remain in nurturing family homes.
We also provide families with food, cookware, and bedding.
Each child is enrolled in a local school and provided a school uniform, school supplies, basic personal hygiene products, and extra clothing.
LEGACY
2010 - One of our earlier photos of our Canadian Founder, the late Dave Gingrich, with some of the Haitian children.
Our Founder, the late Dave Gingrich, began doing mission work in Haiti more than thirty years ago. In October 2010, the year Haiti was devastated by a large-magnitude earthquake, Dave began working specifically with children in need of love and hope.
HAITI
In Haiti you are guaranteed plenty of new sights and sounds, language and love, work and worship, delightful cuisine and sunshine. The harsh realities of life are softened by the natural beauty of the island. Considering the severe hardships Haiti has undergone, you will meet some of the friendliest people and you will go away with lasting friendships.
